1 The Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Upholland and on the grounds of the stunning Holland Hall Hotel. Having recently undergone a full renovation featuring an outdoor log burner, picture perfect gardens and 5* interior designs you will not be disappointed when staying at our cottage.
Our spacious cottage has a terrace and garden area overlooking Deanwood Golf Course which features an outdoor dining area fully equipped with a BBQ. Once inside features include; 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with walk-in shower, living room, flat screen TV’s, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob. Towels and bed linen are included with your booking also and as our guests you can make full use of our free WI-FI and free private parking.
The local area includes picturesque walks, traditional pubs and local landmarks including Ashurst Beacon, Parbold Hill and of course Holland Hall Hotel. Further afield (but not too far) we have DW Stadium 6km away, Haydock Racecourse only 12km from us, Lancashire Manor is only 3km and Wigan Town Centre 8km.
We are proud to be situated alongside Holland Hall Hotel which is a luxury venue for Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings, Party Nights and much more. Holland Hall Restaurant is available Thursday-Sunday with a variety of home cooked meals by the amazing chefs alongside entertainment most Sundays.
Alongside Holland Hall Hotel and the stunning Deanwood Golf Course in which we are situated we have a variety of restaurants, bars and other amenities close by including The Fox at Roby Mill, Il Mulino’s, Houghwood Golf Club, The Raj Gate, The Posthouse, Sorrento’s, The Old Bank, The Copper Tap plus many more. Local transport links include Orrell Train Station, Upholland Train Station as well as a variety of local taxis and local bus routes stop at the top of our main road just a 2 minute walk from our cottage.
